Hailing from Toronto, Ontario
Sam is no stranger to the music scene. Starting with playing drums at age 13, he quickly went on to steady gigging and touring. At age 14, after acquiring a small amount of entry level recording gear, he began to teach himself the ins and outs of the craft, recording anything and everything that came his way. Graduating from Mayfield Secondary School, Sam enrolled into Seneca's Independent Music Production program, further honing in on recording and production, as well as better developing his songwriting and business skills.
Armed with a more focused grasp on multiple ends of the industry, Sam has since gone on to work on hundreds of songs and help develop the sound of many artists and bands, both big and small. His assiduous work ethic, coupled with his countless hours recording have helped him earn a healthy reputation in the music scene. Upon listening to Sam's extensive collection of work, it becomes apparent that there is a steady focus on both production and arrangement, along with a dedication to staying true to the artists' intent and vision throughout the process.
Sam has been fortunate enough to work with many labels, including Hopeless Records, Pure Noise Records, Rise Records, Equal Vision Records, Victory Records, Tragic Hero Records, New Damage Records, TDR Records, Kick Rock Invasion and Bullion in Japan, as well as many smaller independent labels across the US, Canada, and abroad.
